This week the puppies were exposed to a variety of surfaces. Sniffing and lying in grass was one of their favorites. For the most part, the pups are weaned from nursing and really seem to enjoy their puppy chow mix. Lab puppies play very hard so there is lots of wrestling and biting on a regular basis. Their puppy teeth are very sharp and it’s not unusual to hear an occasional yelp. As a result, they now tote a regular collar as they were yanking the felt collars in play. They love attention and love to be held. They are at a really cute stage.
