This week the puppies moved to their weaning pen located in the kitchen. They love the additional space to romp and run. They have a full set of teeth and delight in chewing on toys, blankets and each other. Their play has increased in intensity - pawing, growling and chasing each other. They pick up their toys and prance around proudly. They love to explore outside on our back deck where they eat most of their meals. For the most part, the pups discriminate as to where they relieve themselves and will go to the other end of the pen to do their business. Each puppy gets individual attention and shows their pleasure with lots of kisses and wagging tails.
