NINA & MAJOR LITTER

JANUARY 20, 2016

This has been a tough week. Nina ended up at an Emergency Veterinary Hospital on Saturday. Serious complications required that she undergo surgery on Monday. It was touch and go but finally she was able to come home on Wednesday evening. The puppies had to be totally weaned off mother’s milk. It was very trying for them as they missed their mother. We gave them extra attention and let their Gramma (Nina’s mom) spend some time with them on an individual basis. When Nina and pups reunited, it was very emotional.

“Hey, something new!”
“What is it?”
“I will be the brave one and explore!”
“Little bright in here!”
“Maybe, it’s a head rest”
All tired out
Snuggle buddies
“This cool floor feels good.”
“Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz”
“Wake up!”
“Why should we?”
“Can I join you?”
“What??”
Good thing Green has big legs to hold up his big head
“This vent is a great spot to nap.”
“Where is my mommy?”
“We miss her!”
“Hope she’s okay.”
“They said the milk bar is closed.”
“Hey pal, I miss my mommy.”
“Come on, guys, we can do this!”
“Let me think about that.”
“Let’s snuggle and say some prayers for mom.”
“Wanna have a chat?”
“Sure!”
“I wish my Mommy could come home.”
“Have you seen her? She’s black, like me!”
“Okay, guys, let’s band together!”
“We are brothers”
Blue is a good looking boy
Blue says:“This is a good place to seek comfort.”
“Or I can chew on a blanket.”
Pink is a chunk
“Wanna hang out in here?”
“It’s kind of cozy, like Mom.”
Gramma to the rescue
“Someone loves me.”
“Gramma, have you seen my Mom?”
“I miss her!”
“Can we snuggle until she comes home?”
“Let’s burn off some energy!”
“Love wrestling”
Hanging out
Waiting for Mom
“Tell her we miss her.”
“Glad we have each other!”
“Saying prayers for safe recovery.”
“I love you!”
“Hanging out....waiting.”
“Yeah, Mom is back!!”
