ALMOST ONE WEEKS OF AGE

Sam and her ten pups are settling in well this first week. The puppies can’t see or hear, but due to their sense of smell, they definitely know how to find mom to nurse. They like to jockey for position at the milk bar. Newborn puppies have pink noses, ears and feet. Their black pigment is slowly coming in. The puppies love to snuggle with mom, each other and with the two heartbeat puppies.
